1.A Happy Outing Sunday,January 10th,2010
Today is Sunday and it is a fine day.My friend and I took a trip to the zoo in our city.Early in the moring,we met at the school gate and started off at about 8:00am.We went by bus and got to the zoo at about 8:30.There were many people in the zoo,men and women,boys and girls were everywhere.We went to the monkey hills to watch the monkeys first.They were very cute,jumping here and there.Then we went to see the elepants.There were several elephants,and all are very big,lying on the ground.Later we saw some tigers that are very violent with a very big mouth.
We were glad to see so many animals though we were tired.
2.A Happy Trip
Our school organized a three-day trip last week.The first day we went to the beach,it was a fine day,the sun was shining brightly,the wind was blowing softly,and we had a good time.The second day we went climbing.The wind was so strong that we felt tired.The third day we visited the museum.There were many people and it was very crowded.Hower we felt very happy.
It was a happy trip.

We were glad to see so many animals though we were tired.What a nice day!
4.A Visit to the Zoo Sunday,June 18,2010
It was Sunday yesterday and it was a fine day,Liu Dong and I visited the zoo.We went by bus.We got there at 8:30 in the morning.We saw different kinds of animals.The monkeys were very funny,jumping and running.The tigers were so strong,sitting on the ground.We were very glad to see the giant pandas and tall giraffes.They were really lovely.Animals are our good friends,we should get on well with them.

I went on a trip to Hainan with my family on New Year's Day.We went there by plane.After we got off the plane, we went to the beach to see the beautiful sand and swim there.There were other people there too.Some people were surfing and some people were diving in the deeper part of the sea.Afterwards we had lunch at a seafood restaurant near the beach. We ate seafood like shrimps and craps, and drank some abalone soup.

July 10th 2004 Sat. Fine
The plane finally touched the ground. It was around 5:00 p.m. local time, that is, London time, which is eight hours behind Beijing time. After a fuss at the luggage claim, we mixed into the crowd of people with different colors and styles. My eyeballs kept jumping from one alien to another. What a sight!
Then we were met by someone from the university, who, we later learned, is called Barbara, our course director. It was about an hour’s bus ride before we finally reached Brighton, where we were picked up by different English host families. My host family is a couple with a five-year-old daughter. On the way to their home, the hostess said that we(Xu Huishang and I) were lucky because they had just moved to the new house. We each have a separate room. The bathroom is OK. What we had for dinner was something like pizza and some vegetables.
It was only after the shower that I realized I had been up for almost 24 hours. It was the longest day I had ever had. I will have to get over the jet lag.
